Dear 16 year old me.
Video Provided by Summer Rietveld
With summer right around the corner kids often forget about the whole sunburn thing. This short video talks pretty frankly, albeit somewhat humorously, about the whole healthy skin topic and the damage the sun can do. Preview first, can get a little sad at the end but I think its a topic well worth some discussion.

Video provided by S. Rietveld
The video is about how businesses are having trouble filling entry level positions due to the candidates (usually youth) not possessing or fulfilling the basic skills needed for the current job market such as proper dress, punctuality, and independent work habits. Some interesting discussion topics!
Lesson:
1) Create a class list of skills needed for job market. (about 15 skills)
2) Small groups: Rank the skills in order of importance
3) Full group discussion/sharing
4) Taking Symmes Jr High as a general pool of society, what are some skills that your generation lacks?
